In honor of this year’s celebration of the 50th anniversary of the music genre, the Google Pixel Fold is now available in a unique “Hip Hop 50” edition. But only a small number of people are receiving this specific Fold model under the Gift from Google program.

Spotted by 9to5Google and shared by recipients on Instagram, the Pixel Fold Hip Hop edition comes in a beautifully crafted package. It is a comprehensive Pixel-themed bundle that includes not only the Pixel Fold but also a Pixel Watch and a pair of Pixel Buds Pro, encompassing all three pillars of the company’s existing mobile ecosystem.

The product is delivered in a suitcase that can play records, just like an authentic Victrola record player. The Pixel Fold has a symbol engraved into the camera bump and metallic embellishments on the back and sides to distinguish it from the ordinary phone. It is available in the same Obsidian colorway as the standard Pixel (Porcelain is the other finish). It has a classy appearance, and as our review of the Pixel Fold demonstrates, we liked the aesthetics Google used for its first foldable.

In accordance with Google’s Gift from Google program, super fans and influencers receive custom-designed Pixel phones as gifts. This strategy is congruent with the showy packaging of this unique Pixel Fold, which elevates an already remarkable product.

Google’s first foldable impresses

The Pixel Fold, Google’s first foldable, has garnered a mixed reception despite topping our list of the finest foldable currently available. Even said, the firm has received plaudits for its hardware design and awards from organizations like DXOMark for producing the finest foldable smartphone display, according to their tests.

While there were some initial worries regarding the foldable screen, Google has always been a master at producing devices with eye-catching design, and the Pixel Fold Hip Hop 50 edition epitomizes this.
