Kerala to Launch E-Taxi Service From Next Month as an Alternative to Corporate Online Cabs

The Kerala government is good to go to concoct an option in contrast to the well known corporate web-based taxi administration by launching its own e-taxi administration from the following month, viewed as the main such drive by any state government in the country.

Named ‘Kerala Savari’, the web-based taxi employing administration is being carried out by the state Labor Department connecting the current auto-taxi networks in the state with a plan to guarantee safe and debate free travel for general society at reasonable rates winning in the state.

Kerala minister for public education and Labor V Sivankutty said, “It this is first-time that an government is launching a web-based taxi services in the country. This government is moving towards a field overwhelmed by multinational company with the point of welfare of laborers.”

“Kerala Savari will charge just 8% service charge separated from the fix rate,” he said.

The minister said, “Kerala Savari application is an extremely protected framework for youngsters and ladies to utilize. “This venture will be executed by the Motor Workers Welfare Board with the collaboration of Planning Board, Legal Metrology, Transport, IT and Police Departments. Indian Telephone Industries, Palakkad a public area association, gave specialized help to the venture,” he said.

The new service would be launched in a function to be held at Kanakakkunnu Palace here on the starting day of the Malayalam month of Chingam, which falls on August 17.
