Motorola Edge 40 is scheduled to debut in India on May 23. An advertisement on Flipkart disclosed the price of the smartphone just days before its official release. The Motorola Edge 40 is rumored to be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A 3D curved display with a refresh rate of 144Hz is verified to be available in three distinct color options. The smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera and a 4,400mAh battery that supports 68W TurboPower charging. The Motorola Edge 40 was introduced in Europe first.
Motorola Edge 40 price in India
Prior to the Motorola Edge ’40s scheduled to release on May 23, Flipkart has added a banner to its website containing price information. According to the listing, the price of the device in India will be Rs. 27,999, and pre-orders will begin on May 23. There will be EMI options starting at Rs. 5,000 per month that are free of charge. In addition, the listing indicates an exchange offer of up to Rs. However, the Motorola Edge 40 price is not listed on the e-commerce website at this time.
A Twitter user named Karan Mistry (@karanmystery) was the first to notice the Motorola Edge 40 banner on Flipkart. Gadgets360 was able to independently confirm the listing, however. At the time of writing, the listing no longer displayed the price and sale details.
Recall that the Motorola Edge 40 was released in Europe earlier this month for EUR 599.99 (approximately Rs. 54,000) for the only 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration.
Similar to the European edition, the Indian variant of the Motorola Edge 40 is rumored to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC. It is confirmed that Nebula Green, Eclipse Black, and Lunar Blue color options will be available. It is purported to be the thinnest IP68-rated 5G smartphone.
