Design renders for the Nothing Phone 2 have not circulated online. It is verified that the Nothing flagship smartphone will launch in India in July. The company has not yet disclosed the precise launch date. In the meantime, the new disclosure from the rumor mill has disclosed renders of the Nothing Phone 2 prior to its release. The revealed design renders suggest that the exterior of the Nothing Phone 2 will be modified. The device’s rear panel will remain transparent and contain LED lighting for the Glyph Interface.
According to a report by Smartprix in collaboration with Steve Hemmerstoffer (Twitter: @OnLeaks), the Nothing Phone 2’s aluminum frame will be slightly convex. According to reports, the front and rear panels are also slightly curved, resembling a “2.5D” design. The Nothing Phone 1 had a planar rear panel and frame in comparison. The display’s bezels are relatively narrow. It continues to feature a cutaway for the front camera in the upper left quadrant.
In the purported image of the Nothing Phone 2, the LED strip design for the Glyph Interface has been updated. According to the report, the LED strip surrounding the camera module on the Nothing Phone 1 has been divided into two segments. The two LED strands now form an arch around the dual-camera arrangement. According to the report, it will also feature a dual LED configuration that has been updated.
According to the unverified report, the LED strip surrounding the wireless charging coil will also be redesigned. It has been reduced to tiny strands of LEDs, which should help the Nothing Phone 2 stand out from its predecessor.
The power button is located on the right side of the frame, while the volume controls are located on the left, as disclosed by the leaked design renders. According to the report, the USB Type-C connector and speaker grille are located on the phone’s bottom edge.
Nothing has not verified any official design details for the forthcoming Nothing Phone 2. The company previously disclosed that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will power the Nothing Phone 2. It will also feature a larger 6.7-inch display and a 4,700mAh battery. According to the company, the phone will also receive three years of Android OS updates and four years of security updates.
